After Bridal Fair & Wedding Expo 2013

It’s been a little more then a week since the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel Bridal Fair & Wedding Expo 2013. It was an amazing experience as usual. It’s always great to go out there to meet the upcoming newlyweds. This was the first year it was a night time event. So we had the task of lighting up the area where there was the acoustic musician and the fashion show runway. We did a 10 1/2 hour lighting set up and this is how it looked.

Our goal was to make the area lit up enough without having to use the fluorescents. So we did hanging string lighting and paper lanterns over the runway. We used string lighting in other areas like the check in table and over the elevators for safety. We then did uplighting in magenta around the perimeters. We also have white uplighting behind the stage and touches of white around the room for enhancement.

We also lit up the area around the acoustic musician.

There was also a Eclipse Effect Entertainment booth inside the Moku’ola Ballroom along with the rest of the vendors and we had our new business cards on hand.

We were happy with the turn out of people and we were glad people got to enjoy our work. and can’t wait till the 2014 Bridal Fair. It’s some time away, but you’ll see us there.
